Very badly washed salad, better chip shop. There are much better restaurants in Oberstaufen, the restaurant is just in a good location.

Mood and atmosphere just as you need it in an Allgäu inn. Food is neat and service friendly. It's true, you have the food on the table after a few minutes, but I think it leaves nothing to be desired in terms of taste. Depending on the dish, it may be a bit expensive, but I don't doubt the quality.

No fresh preparation. The food is obviously only heated up quickly and tastes mediocre. The salad wasn't washed properly. I chewed on earth ... Absolute rookie mistake and K.O. Criteria. I'll make a better salad there.

Unfortunately, a big disappointment from a human point of view, even mediocre food does not hide it. The word service was unfortunately an absolute foreign word on the evening of September 19th for all employees who were active on the terrace / beer garden. The first waiter you tried to address in a friendly manner waved me off without saying a word. Anyone who thought they would come back soon would still be waiting for them today. Never seen such an unfriendly person! The other service staff made a slightly better figure after you had taken your table. But especially because of the waiting time for the opportunity to order and for the ordered drinks. Here, too, there was no general hospitality to be found. The positive thing was that the food that was ordered was served quickly. (Food before drinks, however, makes you think about how that can be possible.) The food itself, average. For guests who like the salad drowned in dressing, it's worth a visit. All in all, I would definitely not recommend this place due to the poor service! Because if you don't want to talk to your guests, like the waiter mentioned at the beginning, you shouldn't have any more guests ...

Extremely unfriendly waiter on September 7th at 3:30 p.m. Here I got the feeling that I wasn't welcome. I can't recommend it, first impressions ar terrifying.

The food was okay, but the waitresses were incredibly unfriendly. Just one example: a couple walks past us and asks for a table and they are told very rudely that nothing is free outside. When asked what is inside: "I don't know" - "So can we take a look inside?" - "yes then ask inside!" I think it can be more friendly. What I also found very uncomfortable is that you have to sit down at the table with strangers. This is not the case in any other restaurant in Oberstaufen and it is really uncomfortable during Corona times.

Even if Mr. Hollweck does not get tired of emphasizing that everything is freshly prepared, my two (!) Overpriced Maultaschen were 99% from the supermarket. We also felt that the food came in seconds, which speaks for finished goods. In my opinion, the three potato pancakes were also mass-produced. As others have written, the popularity stems mainly from the fact that the good restaurants are not open at lunchtime. And last but not least, I always have a strange feeling about these preliminary and interim calculations ...

I sat really well outside and ate very deliciously. The staff was friendly and quick. Would love to come back.

No not very friendly Maybe it was the restaurant manager, it was called after you: did you make a reservation ??? We said no ..... Well, we have to see, but if there are still guests coming later, we have to put them at your table, no, I don't want that. Rule of 1.50 m , after some waiting a friendly elderly gentleman came and served us. I do not recommend it, thank God we have freedom of expression

Super nice service and a variety of food. There is something for everyone here. The service is quick and the food comes quickly and is very tasty. We were happy with everything. Even when we asked if we could rather sit inside (since it was raining) we quickly looked for a table and we were able to move. Gladly again!

Service was nice but could have been more responsive but that's on parr for the area. I had the Maultaschen and it just came with two which seems too small of a portion size. Now I've had a lot of the pre-made frozen Maultaschen, and supposedly these were homemade, but I couldn't see or taste the difference. Other than that it was a typical experience.

If you like fast food, this is the place for you. If you want to get full, it is an option, but if you value really good food, you should go somewhere else. Staff was ok

Kudos to the waiters first! They do a very good job, are on Zack and absolutely friendly. Food is great, comes out of the kitchen very quickly, is hot and tastes delicious! Very clean and well maintained in all rooms. Price performance is very good here. Come again!

In this summer hitze room without air condition didn’t help us to have good sleep. For breakfast they could serve cold water or juice.

Service is extremely fast: order drinks already when sitting down, after two minutes of drinks and after five minutes already the food on the table. That conveys a certain Kantinenflair. For me, this has also continued with the food: very thin sauces and the various dumplings I found rather carelessly prepared and boring.

Food very tasty and fresh, very nicely served. Quickly served despite the large number of guests. 12 euros for the lunch menu. Minus for the service, which despite the fact that it was fast and efficient, but it was unpleasant and gave the impression that guests are not welcome here.

The food here was just unbelievable good. Portions are huge. Normally, appetizers so big, so it can be enough for a dinner! Prices are OK. And we've got even some drinks from the restaurant at the end (maybe because we were nice :) 5+

This has been the weirdest experience we had during our stay in Isny, DE. We went to Oberstaufen for diner one night and wondered till we got to Adlers terrace. The place was packed, but inside there was a table free for us (2 adults, 1 child). My partner told me not to think the food would come quickly as the waiters were so busy. But we were surprised that within 10 minutes of ordering the food was on the table. Honestly I thought it could not be that good then, right? This was way to quick... But the weirdest thing. The food was sublieme! Cannot remember having a steak that tender, it's been quite a while... And even though the staff had no minutes rest, they noticed everything. The child that wondered was friendly turned in the direction of the toilet, all kept an eye on the guests to make sure everything was in order, while swirling by gave every kid a sweet. I was very impressed. Sad to say we're back in Holland already. Definitly would love to go back someday!
